Vashon Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) is a healthcare delivery program designed to increase timely access to urgent medical and social care services. The MIH program is funded and operated by Vashon Island Fire and Rescue (VIFR), in partnership with King County Emergency Medical Services. MIH strives to support a healthier life, home, and community for Vashon Island residents. The MIH team is tightly woven into the community and can assist islanders with navigating resources, tending to medical needs in one’s home, and developing patient-centered care plans. MIH is a proactive approach to building a safe, timely, and resilient program to integrating healthcare for Vashon Island.
