Room Rental - Vashon Fire

Please be aware that rooms are rented on a first come, first serve basis with the first priority for the fire district’s use; second priority is for our Disaster Preparedness partners and then to the public.

Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms and/or gambling are not allowed on any District property.

Fire District programs and activities shall have priority over other groups when scheduling use of District Facilities. Public use may be cancelled if and if an emergent need arrives. Every effort will be made to give at least three days notification; however, the district reserves the right to cancel without notice.

These fees are necessary to assist in the cost of meeting room maintenance, repairs and replacement of equipment. Groups with a history of leaving the room in poor condition may be charged a damage deposit. Usage fee must be received two weeks prior to room reservation date. Agencies may send a check to Vashon Island Fire & Rescue, PO Box 1150, Vashon, WA 98070, or Pay at our Business Office at 10020 SW Bank Rd, Vashon, WA 90870

Before you leave the facility, you must:
1. Empty all trash into dumpster behind building Station 55
2. Re-arrange chairs and tables per room schematic posted on the wall
3. Wipe down all the tables used by your group and vacuum the room
4. Turn out all lights
5. Only light snacks allowed in meeting room. No coffee maker provided
6. No tobacco, Marijuana or alcohol use of any kind will be permitted in the meeting room

The User shall indemnify and hold harmless the Vashon Island Fire & Rescue, its officers, officials, employees and volunteers from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, or liabilities for injury or death of any person, or for loss or damage to property, which arises out of use of Facilities or from any activity, work or thing done, permitted, or suffered by User in or about the Premises / Facility, except only such injury or damage as shall have been occasioned by the sole negligence of the Vashon Island Fire & Rescue.
